Planisphère raffole de paradoxes. Du nom de notre collectif, à la fois plan et saillant, à celui de notre première compilation sur laquelle le dur et le fluide s’avoisinent - la confrontation nous est chère.

Liquid/Solid est une mosaïque de musiques qui font un pas de côté. Dans certains morceaux, le rythme décalé laisse entrevoir les entrailles distors de la machine ; d’autres flottent dans l’air qui la traverse. Souvent, le synthétique se heurte à l’analogue et parfois, on aperçoit la folie derrière la façade électronique.

Vous découvrirez sur les deux faces de cette cassette neuf compositions originales d’artistes qui étonnent par leur audace et par la profondeur de leurs explorations musicales et sonores.

Planisphère cherishes the paradox. From the name of our collective, plane and salient at the same time, to the one we gave to our first compilation where the solid and the liquid go hand in hand – confrontation is key.

Liquid/Solid is a mosaic of musical offerings that sidestep the mainstream of electronic sounds. Some songs’ off-kilter rhythms give us a glimpse of the machine’s distorted guts ; other tracks float in the air that passes through it. Often, the synthetic collides with the analogue and sometimes you notice insanity behind the electronic facade.

On the two sides of this cassette, you will discover nine original compositions from artists whose boldness and intense sonic exploration surprise and amaze.

Twelve artists from three countries, nine experimental songs. This compilation is a light well onto our Planisphère.
